Membership in the PTA
Membership in each local PTA/PTSA unit shall be made available by the local PTA/PTSA unit to all who believe in the Mission and Vision statements of the National PTA and the Purposes of the Illinois PTA inclusively. Individual members may belong to any number of PTAs and pay dues in each. Every person who joins a local PTA automatically becomes a member of both the State and National PTAs.
Together we are a powerful voice for children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child.
An individual may become a member of a local PTA. The Illinois PTA also offers a Cardinal PTSA Membership. This programs offer individuals the opportunity to further support PTA.

The Illinois Cardinal PTSA is a statewide honorary unit that allows individuals with an interest in the Illinois PTA to show support and to maintain contact with the Illinois PTA.
