ILLINOIS PTA UNIT AND MEMBER RESOURCES, PUBLICATIONS
& LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Assistance to local units may be secured
from state officers, state committee chairmen, field service
representatives, district directors, Chicago Region
president, and the state office.
Many state board members have expertise
in specific PTA fields, as well as other areas of interest. Board
members are available to local PTA units and councils as speakers,
panelists, and resource specialists.
Your PTA or council may host the
following study courses and or workshops:

- ABC's of PTA Finance
- Dollars & $ense
- PTA & the Law
- TV Critical Viewing
Any PTA/PTSA or council may wish to ask a State Board member
to present a program at a meeting. These meetings are an important
part of the support services offered to PTAs/PTSAs by your Illinois
PTA. There is no cost for these services.

If a local unit or council PTA requests the services of a PTA
state board of managers members, who resides out of their immediate
geographic area, that local unit should be prepared to cover the
expenses of that board member.
