Dear Coalition Members,
We’re happy to inform you that the Common Core Illinois Real Learning for Real Life campaign is ready to officially launch! Now, we must enlist your help in the spreading word to your members and constituents.
The website, www.CommonCoreIL.org, as well as the Facebook and Twitter pages are live and the first newsletter is in development. Please take a minute to visit- there may have been some updating since the last time you viewed it. We have a strong coalition of organizations (check out the About section to see the full list) and we look forward to working with you to build awareness about the Common Core.
Please take a look at the attached communications toolkit for your use. The toolkit contents can be used as is or customized to fit your organization’s needs.
The attached toolkit includes:
• Sample newsletter copy
• Facebook posts including links and images
• Suggested Twitter posts
• Graphics, including the Real Learning for Real Life logo and a “button” of the web address for use on your site as a link to commoncoreil.org
